Uniting NSW ACT

Uniting NSW ACT
Help Uniting to provide services to those who need them most. These include aged care, disability, early childhood, and other community services. Uniting is also involved in social justice and advocacy. Try volunteering with Uniting and you’ll get flexibility, a supportive team, and the chance to grow and make friends. Whether you can give a few hours each day, week, or month, it all helps. You can choose to volunteer in a wide range of roles such as assisting with group activities like cooking, tai chi, singing, or art. You could visit an older person and enjoy a chat and a cuppa. You might want to drive a small community bus and help clients get to appointments or do their shopping. You can offer pastoral or spiritual support, mentor a learner driver, or bring your pet for a visit. If you prefer to work behind the scenes, share your language or professional skills such as administration, photography, and coaching. There’s something for everyone in centres right across NSW and ACT. Find out more about volunteering on the website provided and enjoy staying active and meeting people.
