The Ethnic Link Services help older people from non-English speaking backgrounds to remain living independently at home and in the community. They communicate in your language and they help you with aged care services, interpretation, and liaison. You can get involved in activities and language-specific programs. Everyone is welcome at the Taperoo Community Centre to join the low-cost programs and workshops. It’s a place to learn in a fun and engaging environment. You can join the computer and internet classes to improve your technology skills. Or the literacy and life skills for a practical skills class to support everyday living. There is art, craft, sewing and digital photography to try. Or join a social group to work on creative projects together. You can also join the over 50s social group where you can meet people your own age to learn, have fun, and go on outings.
