Val’s LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care (formerly Val’s Café) is a Victorian-based program working to improve healthy ageing pathways, care, and visibility of older LGBTI people. Follow the Facebook page to find out about a wide range of events, workshops, and talks you can go along to. Previously there have been events such as Puppy Pride Dog Walk, a social dance with Motown classics, Silver Rainbow Ageing Options, Talk and an Afternoon of Trivia and Song to name just a few. It’s a great way to stay connected to other LGBTI people, get support and resources, and keep socially active.
