Join a team of passionate volunteers at VMCH and make a positive difference in your community. You could work with the team in one of the fundraising op shops. You'll help in customer service and sales, sorting donations, and creating vibrant in-store displays. You can work in the warehouse mending, sorting, and preparing items for sale. Or as a volunteer driver to collect donations and distribute goods. You could work in the TeleFriend program where you’ll make regular friendly phone calls to people who may feel isolated or lonely. You might work in Disability Services where you can get involved in gardening, music making, painting and crafts, exercising, and dancing, to name a few. You can also help with these activities in Aged Care centres. Whether it is for social connection, a desire to help others, or to share a passion, you’ll benefit from volunteering. It’s a chance to give something back and connect with your community. It's a great way to stay active, feel a sense of purpose, and meet new, interesting, and like-minded people.
