Join one of the activity groups offered by Walcha Council Community Care. Enjoy friendship and social interaction with other people in the community. There’s a Men’s Group that meets for friendship, social contact, outings, and activities. Join them on the second Tuesday of every month for activities and the fourth Tuesday of every month for a group outing. There's a Women’s Group that enjoys companionship, social outings, and group activities. Join them on the first Wednesday of every month for activities and on the third Wednesday of every month for a group outing. Or you can join the Wanderer's Group - a First Nations group of people who love to wander the country. You can find some culturally appropriate and interesting places to visit. The group meets weekly for morning tea and craft activities as well as a monthly outing.
