Go along to the Warmun art studio to work in the heart of the Warmun Art Centre community. The studio is where ideas emerge, stories are shared, and art is made. It’s the place where you can go every day to drink nalija (tea), cook mangari (food) and jarrag (chat). It’s always a lively commotion of the community’s cultural and social life. The studio is the place where you can try different techniques of crushing, cooking, and mixing ochre. Wood is cut and dried for carving and canvas is stretched. You can develop your artistic ideas, connect to culture, and to each other.
