Wildlife Rescue Queensland

If you love animals and want to make a difference, try volunteering at Wildlife Rescue. There are many ways you can be involved with the Wildlife Rescue group and it’s a great way to have a positive impact on animals in your area. You can become a wildlife carer, where you will take care of injured or sick animals. You will receive training so that you can be confident with rescued and injured wildlife. You may prefer to help by collecting daily food for orphaned or injured animals. You can collect native plant cuttings for possums, gliders, kangaroos, and other animals. Or you can help by transporting animals, working on the helpline, fundraising, and in admin. At home, you could make possum and animal pouches. It all helps, and you will get a tremendous sense of reward knowing you are making a difference. You’ll keep active and busy and enjoy being connected to like-minded people.
