Wildlife Victoria

Wildlife Victoria
If you love animals and have some spare time, volunteer to help to rescue native wildlife. As a volunteer rescuer, you’ll respond to calls to attend to injured, sick, or orphaned native animals. You’ll then transport the animals to a licensed wildlife shelter, foster carer, or veterinarian. You could also just work in transport, where you only transport contained animals so it’s not so hands-on. Or you can work as a Wildlife Foster Carer and Shelter where you will be trained on how to care and rehabilitate injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife. It’s a wonderful way to help animals and work with a team of passionate people. You'll meet many like-minded people and feel a sense of reward from giving back to the community and wildlife.
