Willoughby City Council Volunteering

If you would like to help your council and get to know your community, volunteer for one of its volunteer programs. You could work as a Bushcare volunteer and help to conserve and rehabilitate the shire's bushland. Bushcare volunteers usually meet once a month for a three-hour work session. If you prefer, you can visit frail older people to stay in their own homes. You’ll help with driving, delivering meals, and gardening. You may just enjoy a cuppa and a chat to help them feel connected. You can also assist in the library, or at MOSAIC Multicultural Centre where you can help people learn English and enjoy social activities. Or there are art galleries, festivals, and events to organise and attend. It’s a wonderful way to give back to people in need of a helping hand and meet like-minded people.
