Women’s Information Service WIS

Volunteers at Women's Information Service (WIS) are highly valued and make a difference in the lives of many women in South Australia. If you have some spare time or skills to offer, join a team of volunteers working with women from all different walks of life. You can work in one of 11 different areas from Children’s Centres and Family Court Support, to working in the Shopfront. The Shopfront role involves providing information and referrals to women who phone or visit in person. Or you can work at one of the Havens, working with women who have concerns for their safety. The WIS volunteer program offers training, mentoring, and support. It’s a wonderful way to connect to other women, make a positive impact, and lend a helping hand to women in need. You’ll stay active, have more purpose, learn new things, and meet people.
