First Nations Campfire

Wyanga Aged Care

Wyanga Aged Care offers social support services to First Nations people in NSW. You can join other Elders in group activities such as art and craft classes – bark painting, candle making, jewellery, and pottery. It’s a wonderful way to share skills and meet people. There are puzzles, crosswords, scrap booking, floral arrangements, and photography activities to name a few. You can also go on social outings to places like the art gallery, national parks, museum, movies, picnics, and barbeques together. To keep active, there’s a light exercise program (aqua aerobics in the pool) and a walking group where you can walk and talk. There’s a separate Men’s Group where men can meet to tell stories, solve problems, and have a yarn.
