iLA acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands, skies, and waters throughout Australia and the Torres Strait where we live and work. We specifically acknowledge the Whadjuk Noongar people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which our head office sits, in Boorloo (Perth), Noongar Boodja (Western Australia).

We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities across Australia, and their Elders past and present.

We are committed to walking together to develop culturally safe information and initiatives that enable people to make informed choices and connections, and support strong, self-determining communities.

Shoehorn

What is a shoehorn?

A man using a shoehorn to slide his foot into his shoe.Shoehorn

A shoehorn is a long piece of smooth plastic with a groove down the middle to help you slide your ankle into your shoe.

Look for a model with a long handle that reduces the need to bend down and reach your shoe to make it easier to put it on.

A shoehorn is useful if you lack flexibility, have a reduced range of motion, have lower limb weakness, upper limb weakness, or suffer pain, or fatigue.
