Join the 50 Plus Centre for a variety of low-cost Seniors' Exercise activities. Activities are held in the basement level of the Brisbane City Hall. Membership is free but you'll need to provide some identification such as a driver's license or pension card when you apply. The centre offers 50 plus Pilates, square dancing, chair yoga, and tai chi. Chair yoga is ideal for people who have difficulty using a mat on the floor but still want the benefit of a yoga workout. These classes are a great way to stay fit and strong, improve your posture, and concentration, and for relaxation. The centre also offers 50 plus art and drawing classes for you to express your creativity. You can try learning something new like cinematography or try your hand at a social game of bridge to keep your mind sharp.
