Volunteer support

Perth Zoo

If you love people as much as you love wildlife, apply to be a volunteer Perth Zoo Docent (volunteer). The Perth Zoo Docent Association often looks for friendly, outgoing people who are good communicators. You just need to be physically fit and commit at least two days a month. You’ll enjoy a range of volunteer tasks including informal talks about animals, tours on foot and by vehicle, directions, and general visitor information. It’s a wonderful way to connect to people and work in and around animals. You’ll keep active and busy and meet plenty of people each time you volunteer.
